Founded in 1989, the Club is based at the Thomas Hardye Leisure Centre in Dorchester. West Dorset Warriors is renowned for its quality coaching from beginners to national swimmers and even Olympic medallists! Part of the Swim Wessex umbrella organisation, we have achieved Silver Swim 21 accreditation.
Ages at the club range from 5+ up to open category – 16+. After assessment new members are placed in a session appropriate to their current ability.
Members of “the Warriors” can progress from non-swimmers and compete in:
local challenge galas
open meets
Junior League – Southern
Regional Championships
Speedo League – Western Division 1 and beyond!
